"Mom's Strawberry Cake" Cotton Wick Scented Candle (8 oz / 222 g)

Mom made this incredible strawberry swirl cake for my 12th birthday, and it's been my birthday cake every year since!  When I was 13, she let me help her make it, so I can still have it as a birthday tradition even after moving away. It reminds me of her and all those special birthday wishes and memories as the scent of swirled strawberry and white cake fills the room with scent notes of strawberries, lemon peel, golden cake, and sweet whipped cream. This is one of the stronger - smelling candles in the collection!

• 7.8 oz candle (222 g)
• Luxury soy coconut blend wax with a touch of palm and food grade paraffin.
• All fragrances in the candles are phthalate-free!
• Approximately 40 hours of burn time
• Zinc-core cotton wick.

Candle Care!

To have the safest and best candle experience, please burn according to these tips!

• (Probably the most important tip!)  Trim your wick to 1/8" - 1/4" between each burn!  This will help prevent soot, smoke, and large flames.
• When burning candles, it is a rule of thumb to burn 1 hour per inch of the diameter.  These candles are just under 3" on the inside, so 3 hours per burn is ideal.
• Trim your wick too short?  It's okay!  If your flame is extremely small (or going out) you can blow out the candle and use a paper towel to soak up some of the melted wax (this will expose more of the unburned wick for the next burn!). Wait for the candle to cool, and then re-light!
• On the 1st burn, try to get the melt pool close to the edge of the jar, but an entirely full melt pool is not necessary for this wax! Because of the coconut in the blend, it is normal and totally okay to have some "hang up" on the side of the jar.  It will heat up and melt down to catch up around halfway through because of coconut wax's lower melting point! 
• Keep the candle out of strong drafts, such as open windows, air conditioners, fans, etc.
• Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not burn the candle close to flammable objects.
• Keep the candle on a flat, stable surface.
